1. Stranger to Danger
Some relationships are more beautiful,
Just being a stranger...
Knowing people more,
Adds up many expectations,
Which is a real danger...
At times, the more we talk,
The perfect image we formed of others,
Starts to shake shatter and rock...
As time goes on and we know the people more,
Usually, many reservations in sharing our true heart and mind's feelings start to pour...
The things we planned to share start to go flop,
When we decide to no longer let our defenses drop...
At times, it's easy to talk and share our hearts with strangers,
Even when it has its fair share of dangers...
Sharing random laughs, smiles and jokes,
Just having a light-hearted conversation with the stranger folks...
Just praising and complimenting the good we see,
Just being our true selves, completely worry free...
Just sharing moments of pure and simple joy,
Sharing random thoughts of the day as senseless talks we enjoy...
Strangers come and help us in our journey of life,
Teaching us the lessons we need to learn and leaving when it's time...
They make the journey more pleasant and comfortable,
Helping us be our best selves and be emotionally strong and stable...
Helping us to meet our social needs,
Talking to random people helps vent and stop our anxiety to breed....
They come suddenly like a pleasant breeze,
Spreading the fragrance of their sweetness, they silently leave...
Holding our hand and helping us safely walk through the cross roads of our life,
Strangers help us glow, grow and thrive...
By helping us keep the innocent kid in us alive,
They help us preserve our true vibe...
For every stranger in our lives, God has decided a role,
After playing their part in our lives, away they suddenly roll...
Strangers keep coming and leaving all throughout our life,
Maybe God's way of replacing our need for friends or being part of a larger tribe...
Leaving in the heart some sweet pleasant memories, strangers often silently leave,
The problem enters when with them expectations, attachments and relations we start to breed...
The moment we get attached,
All the heaps of happiness will come falling down like an accidental crash...
As strangers what they thought about us, we didn't care,
Now their smallest perception or judgment starts to make us sad and put us in despair...
Expectations and fights start to destroy our spirit and soul,
On our mental health they start to take a toll...
They start to always stay in our minds,
Making our heat crib about their words unkind...
It then starts to steal away life's all fun,
Towards sadness and depressed thoughts we suddenly turn...
It then starts to make our heart bleed,
For some peace, making the soul always plead...
Making us finally regret our every action and deed,
Of sharing our heart and showing them, our sides vulnerable and weak...

Felt like I was talking to a kind little sweet teen....
It was children's day,
Felt like God sent the sweetest one around to my life to share some smiles and to stay...
November 17, the first time by her choice heard her voice,
The sweet voice captured the heart and made silent, minds all noise....
She had a really very special way to talk,
Her sweet words made even the gloomy days rock....
Her sweet mimicry voice,

An angel who brings out the best in you,
Talking with her gives a feeling given by very rare few...
For the world, she had a very different view,
Her jolly voice messages gave the soul a zest for life, new...

How to hate someone, she was never told ....
She was born in November,
A really strong and worthy contender...
Who used to think she was some project of mine,
Always feared being manipulated by my words so sweet and so fine....
A stranger, someone somewhere kind,
A sweet angel sent down to earth for the betterment of humankind....
A guardian of life, a teacher and a guide,
Fighting for what she felt was right....
Sometimes, sweet miss sunshine,
Sometimes a sweet, kind soul...
Without talking to her,
The day didn't feel complete,
Life didn't feel whole...
A sweet, kind soul,
Who lets me flirt sometimes a little and sometimes whole...
With her kindness somewhere or other, a part of my heart once she stole,
Playing a positive role, making promises, and sharing life stories, whole...
Who once loved me like a true friend,
Who once promised to treasure my friendship till life's end...
With a twist and turn of fate,
It looks like in this friendship; she lost her interest and faith...
Looking lost and not wanting to initiate any talk,

We have never really met,

Chuckling and giggling,
Taunting and joking,
Always exaggerating and teasing....
Accusing me of always playing the victim card,
On my feelings and emotions being brutal and harsh.... 🥺
Praising my poems but criticizing me,
Boosting my ego but downsizing my personality...
Always ghosting me and vanishing,
But with their sweet excuses and love always balancing...
Coming back before my panicking,
To laugh at my fumbling misery, never hesitating...
Plotting against me a laughter riot,
Pulling my leg with all their might...
Mocking me sweet and loud,
Taking out on me their sweet revenge without any doubt....
Serving me a revenge cold,
For their tears of the past untold...
Always in a praise, taunt and leg-pulling fight,
Each person playing their part, really polite...
With a wise play of words with their vocabulary wide,
They often win the fight by turning the tide...
How long will they pull my leg?
How long for forgiveness would they like me to beg...

Separated by distance, miles apart,

And turn any dark day to sunny and bright...
Seeing life's various colors and games,
She has undergone a lot of trauma and a lot of pain...
Loosing few loved ones in her life,
Has broken her sprit deep down inside...
Riding through life's emotional roller coaster ride,
Much of her passions have slowly died...
Magic in her has started to fade,
Her happiness and joy are starting to evade...
Leaving her kind and tender heart brittle,
Loosing it bit by bit, little by little...
Having a golden broken shattered heart,
She still holds the most precious treasure on this earth...
Delicate and fragile,
Still so versatile and agile...
Loving and forgiving with grace,
Without jealousy and envy's any trace...
With strength of rising back from dirt,
With the hidden power of healing and rebirth...
